Mr. Kozak’s practice is focused on intellectual property litigation and counseling. He has acted as trial counsel in both jury and bench trials, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. His practice has involved a range of diverse technologies, including electrical and fiber optic connectors, telephone and facsimile equipment, television, microprocessors, semiconductors, digital numeric controllers, lasers, machine vision, computer software, geophysical surveying equipment, food processing equipment, agricultural chemicals, adhesives, abrasives, and immunoassays. He also has considerable experience in both domestic and international negotiations and licensing.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kozak served as a patent advisor to the Office of Naval Research’s Naval Weapon Center, Corona Laboratories.
