Anne E. Naffziger

Overview

Ms. Naffziger practices in all aspects of trademark, trade dress, unfair competition and copyright law, including client counseling, trademark clearance and prosecution, policing and enforcement.  She has extensive experience in litigation both in inter parte proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in federal court.

Anne enjoys working with a range of clients, from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies, in protection of their brands and is known and appreciated by clients for bringing a practical and business savvy approach to advising clients on implementation of applicable laws and policies surrounding the evolving landscape of trademark law. Anne also works extensively with associate firms around the world assisting with their client’s U.S. trademark needs.

As a trusted ally for her clients, Anne provides seasoned guidance in navigating the specific opportunities and challenges of branding in an online world.  With more than 20 years of experience in internet related law, she assists clients in all aspects of online protection, strategy and enforcement.  Her clients know that she is abreast of the most recent caselaw and policies relating to cyber IP and will use that knowledge to advise them in a relevant and meaningful way in today’s digital world.

Anne takes great pride in her strong client relationships across a range of trades and industries, including apparel, sporting goods, education, audio and video technologies, high tech, pharmaceuticals, pet products, home hardware and appliances, garden products and wine and spirits.

Anne is active in the International Trademark Association and Intellectual Property Owners Association, serving on committees for both organizations and benefiting from educational opportunities and interaction with colleagues across the globe.
