Leydig, Voit & Mayer secured a win at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) on behalf of AL-KO Kober LLC, invalidating a patent relating to slide-out rooms for recreational vehicles owned by Lippert Components Manufacturing, Inc. In a final written decision in an inter partes review dated June 3, 2015, the PTAB held all claims of Lippert’s U.S. Patent No. 8,573,666 unpatentable as obvious.
