Dr. Jay practices law exclusively in the field of intellectual property. He is active in U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, and foreign patent oppositions, with particular emphasis in the areas of biotechnology, biomedicine, chemistry, chemical engineering, and the mechanical arts. Recent technologies with which he has been involved include laboratory devices, chromatography, polymeric membranes, cloning and amplification techniques, recombinant antibodies, nucleic acid sequences, proteins, disease detection assays, medical treatments, blood filters, and exercise clothing. He is also active in U.S. design patent prosecution.
