Eric Arnell of the Leydig Frankfurt office spoke at the 46th Colloquium of the Ilmenau University of Technology on Patent Information and Industrial Property Protection on the topic of “Protection Against Product Piracy: Why Patents, Trademarks and Designs are Indispensable” on June 5-7 in Ilmenau, Germany. He presented on U.S. design patents and provided an overview on procurement and scope of protection with comparison to designs registered at the EUIPO.
