Mr. Bobel is involved in all aspects of intellectual property law, including litigation, post grant proceedings at the U.S. Patent And Trademark Office, patent preparation and prosecution, and client counseling. Mr. Bobel is proficient in serving as local counsel in various U.S. district courts. Mr. Bobel also has extensive experience managing large patent portfolios. His technical expertise in electrical engineering, computer science, and signal processing enables him to support a variety of clients, particularly those in industries such as processor and memory technology, computer graphics hardware and software, virtualization systems, wireless communication devices and systems, networking devices, biometric sensors, and online software services. At U.C. Berkeley, Mr. Bobel worked on several research projects for the Berkeley Initiative in Soft Computing (B.I.S.C.) involving fuzzy logic and artificial intelligence. Prior to attending law school, he worked for NEPTUN Light, Inc. where he developed improvements for compact fluorescent and LED lighting products.
